  • Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone Signs Cooperation Framework Agreement with Cambodia Angkor Air

    On the morning of March 18, He Jinping, Vice Governor of Henan Province, attended and addressed the video conference on partnership between Henan Province and Siem Reap of Cambodia.

    At the video conference, Henan Province signed four cooperation agreements with Cambodia. The two sides will take this opportunity to work together to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of China and Cambodia, further deepen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of cultural tourism, economy and trade, agriculture, education and aviation, and achieve greater results.

    Wan Zhengfeng, Director of the Management Committee of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, attended the conference, and signed a cooperation framework agreement with Tekreth Samrach, Chairman of Cambodia Angkor Air. According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in increasing aviation cooperation, setting up bilateral cooperation institutions and enhancing industrial cooperation. The two sides plan to make joint efforts in three to five years to help Zhengzhou and Phnom Penh (Siem Reap) become important air passenger and cargo transfer hubs connecting China and Cambodia with ASEAN. Both sides will advance the cooperation plan of the "Henan, Cambodia and ASEAN Air Silk Road" to make the "Air Silk Road" more extensive. Furthermore, Zhengzhou and Phnom Penh will be promoted to become pilot zones for the implementation of the "China-Cambodia Action Plan for Building a Community of Shared Future" and the "China-Cambodia Free Trade Agreement".
